In Which They Bicker in the Adolescent Wing - How Appropriate

Season 1, Episode 20
The Graft in the Girl

BOOTH: (stops walking and faces Brennan, holding out hand) No, no, no. No probing, OK? Not to Cullen, not to his family. (Drops his voice) This will take five minutes. We go in, do the show and tell relating to the case and then we're out of there. Is that clear? (Cullen walks outside of room 128) .
BRENNAN: I think it's peculiar.
BOOTH: No.
BRENNAN: But I...
BOOTH: (cuts in) No.
BRENNAN: You have to admit...
CULLEN: (cutting in) Booth. (Booth and Brennan looks over) Dr. Brennan. How appropriate, you two bickering in an adolescent wing.

Again, concern for truth vs. concern for immediate reactions and feelings. As said before, their common underlying is their desire for the truth, but it is more of a mania with Bones.

Mostly, though, this episode is just sad. This is another one that is mostly about the case, which is more than fine, because it's so incredibly sad that any other emotional-type thing would be way overkill.

Besides, we have some nice gems coming up.
It's the season's end, of course we do. ;)

  1. Incredible, moving episode. One of the most memorable of all.
