The Skull in the Desert
Again, not all that much in this one. Most of the character stuff revolves around Angela and Angela and Brennan's friendship.
We do have, however, a delicious little mix of two classic B&B dialogue factors:
BRENNAN: No offense to you, but you are a stodgy traditionalist when it comes to relationships, buddy.
BOOTH: Stodgy? Stodgy? Okay, okay, here’s the deal—
BRENNAN: Yes, stodgy.
We have both one of them pointing out what they deem to be a character flaw in the other, AND a cutesy bickering moment (“Stodgy? Stodgy?” “Yes, stodgy!”).
A conversation template for them that is delightful every time.
Wow, this was such a great run of episodes, most notable I thought, in terms of character development, for pre-empting 'Hodgela' with Hodgins unabashed admiration of Angela in skimpy clothing!
